Need For Proctors at
Middle Schools
Eaton-Johnson
Middle School and Henderson Middle Schools are in desperate need of test proctors for next
week on Tuesday,
Wednesday and
Thursday (May
15-17). The proctors (volunteers) would be needed to
monitor students during state end-of-grade testing from 8 a.m.
to about 11 a.m. each day. It is that simple – they just watch
the kids during testing. They will be in a classroom with the
teacher during the testing. They also would receive brief
training at the school.
If you could
get something out to chamber members for anyone who could
volunteer their time next week (even if it is just one of the
three days) that would be great. For anyone who can volunteer to
proctor, we ask that they call Sharon Turner, Eaton-Johnson’s
test coordinator, at the school at
438-5017 and let her know that they can help. Sharon
can answer any questions they may have.
